For the Love of Mountains

Hey y'all! I'm the Wandering Appalachian.

I have a deep love for the Appalachian Mountains that some may call "overbearing" or "a bit much", but that's neither here nor there. The mountains call me. There is an unquestionable magic they have that makes me want to smile and look off into the distance like I'm in a cute little music video.

I hail from the lovely, rolling mountains in the upstate of South Carolina, but on any given weekend you can find me exploring the Southern Appalachians in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, or Tennessee. My personal lifelong goal is to one day thru-hike the Appalachian Trail.

I think the good people of this planet Earth would do well to wander a little more often. When you do, make sure to respect nature, wildlife, and fellow wanderers out there. Follow Leave No Trace principles! Take only pictures and leave only footprints.
